What is an 'Artist Print' Edition?

Artist Print editions are highly limited. As a part of the print-making process for each piece, I have a few prints sent to my home for review, usually 1 to 3. The artist print is hand signed by myself along with an indication of "AP" for artist print.

The Artist Print is distinct from other possible editions. For example, a limited edition would involve hand-signed prints limited to larger number (e.g., 20). This print may be available as a digitally signed open edition, in which case the print is not hand signed or limited.
